Dr. Ben Neel, Director of The Campbell Family Cancer Research Institute, Dr. Mary Gospodarowicz, Medical Director at The Princess Margaret and Dr. Tak Mak, Director of The Campbell Family Institute for Breast Cancer Research, have a clear vision on where the critical research priorities are for the newly created Campbell Family Institute. Funding will be utilized for three key areas, all of which are essential to reaching our end goal, to conquer cancer:

• Programs: These include research against specific types of cancer (e.g., breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer), and also research focused on basic mechanisms of cancer development and therapy (e.g., cancer stem cells, cancer cell genomics/proteomics/informatics, immunotherapy).
